ClarityVerify respects your privacy rights and provides eligible users with the ability to request the removal of personal information from our platform.

This page also explains how eligible users can submit "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" requests where applicable under U.S. privacy laws, and what types of information can be removed from our website.

About ClarityVerify's Data

ClarityVerify provides users with reverse phone lookup and public records search tools, allowing them to locate public information through just a simplified search method.

Information presented on our platform might be derived from public records, publicly accessible sources, and third-party data providers. Our platform may show data linked to phone numbers, names, addresses, and related public records. Search results may be updated with publicly available data from various databases.

Currently, ClarityVerify's focus is on U.S.-based users and the data of U.S. phone numbers. The availability of the search and data extent depends on the source and the jurisdiction. We make responsible use of publicly available information while giving users the opportunity to control their privacy settings.

Your Privacy Rights

ClarityVerify aims to comply with U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state privacy regulations where applicable.

Eligible users may request that ClarityVerify:

  • • Remove eligible personal information from our platform
  • • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • • Limit how certain personal information is displayed through our services

ClarityVerify follows verified privacy requests thoroughly and always takes into consideration applicable laws and internal review procedures.

Keep in mind, an opt-out request is not an effective way of removing information from the original public records, government databases, or third-party data providers. However, approved submissions can remove eligible data from ClarityVerify and public search results that are accessible on our platform.

Who Can Submit a Request

Privacy requests may be submitted by eligible residents of the United States who wish to remove their personal information from ClarityVerify search results.

In order to safeguard user privacy and deter unauthorized requests:

Verified Individual Requests

  • • The record-holder should be the one to make the request.

No Third-Party Submissions

  • • Submission of unauthorized privacy requests made on behalf of another person is not permitted.

No Account Required

  • • Membership or a paid subscription to ClarityVerify is not a prerequisite for submitting an opt-out request.

Free Privacy Requests

  • • You will be able to submit an eligible opt-out and privacy removal request free of charge.

Additional verification may be required before certain requests can be completed.

What Information Can Be Removed

Depending on the available search result, ClarityVerify records may contain information such as:

  • • Phone number
  • • Current or previous addresses
  • • Age range
  • • Associated relatives
  • • Property-related information
  • • Other publicly available records

Approved opt-out requests remove eligible information from ClarityVerify-controlled search results.

ClarityVerify is unable to remove information published on government sites, public record databases, search engines, or third-party platforms that are beyond our control. Information availability may vary depending on public record access laws, source limitations, and updates provided by external data partners.

Those who desire a more extensive removal should directly contact the original source or other data providers.

How the Removal Process Works

Generally, an opt-out request is submitted through these steps:

StepAction
Step 1Input the phone number and the related record you want removed
Step 2Enter your email address
Step 3Receive verification code via email
Step 4Enter the verification code and delete the data

Your email address is only for verifying and carrying out your privacy request. Email addresses collected through requests are kept confidential and are not used for unrelated promotional purposes.

Processing Timeline

ClarityVerify will review and process valid opt-out requests as soon as possible and also comply with U.S. privacy laws.

After your request is verified:

  • • Please allow time for search indexes and cached pages to refresh
  • • Clear your browser cache before searching again
  • • Contact support if your information still appears after the expected processing period

Additional verification may be required before some requests can be completed.

Managing Multiple Records and Duplicate Results

Multiple records may appear for the same person due to:

  • • Information supplied by different data providers
  • • Variations in spelling or formatting
  • • Historical address associations
  • • Multiple phone numbers linked to a record
The online opt-out form only allows for one record submission at a time. If you require help deleting multiple records or have duplicate listings, reach out to our support team at support@clarityverify.com and, if possible, provide links or screenshots of the concerned records.

Will My Information Reappear After Removal?

After a valid opt-out request has been processed, the removed record should not appear again on ClarityVerify under the same matched data profile.

However, there could be a situation where a third-party data provider sends updated or new information that cannot be matched to the removed record. As a result, a new listing may show up in future search results.

If you find a new record linked to your information that appears after locating an opt-out request, reach out to our support team so that we can examine the listing and help with another removal request, if necessary.

Requests for Law Enforcement & Protected Individuals

ClarityVerify recognizes the heightened privacy concerns of certain protected individuals, including:

  • • Law enforcement officers
  • • Judges
  • • Prosecutors
  • • Public safety personnel
  • • Immediate household family members residing at the same address

If you fall within one of these categories, please contact our support team directly through email instead of using the standard online opt-out form.

Please include:

  • • Full legal name
  • • Date of birth
  • • City and state of residence
  • • A screenshot or direct link to the record(s) in question

Information submitted for protected-person requests will only be used to process and verify the privacy request.

International Privacy Requests & Data Removal

ClarityVerify is focused on U.S.-based users and primarily relies on publicly available U.S. phone number data. The availability of removing search results outside the U.S. might be limited.

Those residing outside the U.S. who want to request the removal of personal information can do so by sending a Data Subject Request (DSR) via email. The request should contain:

  • • Complete legal name
  • • Details of the information to be removed
  • • Country of residence
  • • If possible, links to records or screenshots that support the request

We will update to include additional privacy request methods and regional compliance requirements.
