This Privacy Policy governs how ClarityVerify ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information across ClarityVerify.com and its subdomains (collectively, the "Site"). It applies to all users globally. This Policy covers all search and lookup features available on the Site, including but not limited to phone number lookup, reverse image search, email lookup, name lookup, and address lookup, as such features may be made available from time to time.
Important Notice Regarding Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA): ClarityVerify is not a consumer reporting agency (CRA) as defined by the FCRA. Our platform is a public record search tool designed for discovery, not for employment, credit, housing, or any other purposes regulated by the FCRA.
2. Types of Information We Collect
a. User-Provided Information
Account and contact details: name, email, mailing address, payment credentials (e.g., credit card or PayPal).Search inputs: identifiers submitted by users to initiate searches, which may include phone numbers, email addresses, names, physical addresses, or facial images uploaded for reverse image search purposes.
b. Automatically Collected Data
Traffic-related data: IP address, access times, browser and device information, referring URLs, pages visited.
c. Publicly Available & Third-Party Data
Sourced in real time from public databases, websites, government and commercial providers: includes names, addresses, phone numbers, aliases, employment, education, public records, and other demographic elements.
d. Biometric and Facial Image Data
When you use our facial image search feature, we may process the facial image you upload solely to perform the requested search. Uploaded images are not stored beyond the duration of the active session, are not used to train AI models, and are not shared with third parties except as necessary to fulfill the search request. This data is treated as Sensitive Personal Information under applicable law.
While we strive to source information from reliable public databases, we do not claim ownership of the underlying public records, nor do we guarantee the accuracy or completeness of such records.
3. How We Collect Information
From you when registering, using services, or submitting search queries. Automatically via cookies, beacons, or technical tracking tools.From third parties or public sources through OSINT methods, real-time data verification services (including but not limited to HLR lookups), and third-party facial recognition or image analysis providers where applicable to the requested service.
These methods are employed strictly for data verification and service delivery purposes.

US/Global: We retain data as needed to fulfill service purposes unless law mandates otherwise.
EU/UK: We retain account data until deletion; search query data is not retained—reports are generated in real time.

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States. Cross-border transfers comply with applicable frameworks (e.g., EU–US Privacy Shield, standard contractual clauses).
9. Data Subject Rights & US State-Specific Notices For EU/UK Users (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, request data portability, and challenge profiling.
For US Users: Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) have specific rights regarding their personal information. These include the right to access, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data, as well as the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
Sensitive Personal Information: We recognize that certain data, such as specific criminal or financial history, is classified as Sensitive Personal Information. Facial images and any derived biometric identifiers are additionally classified as Sensitive Personal Information. We do not use facial data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond fulfilling your search request.
Opt-Out Logic: Once an opt-out request is processed, we add your identifier to our suppression list to ensure your information is excluded from future search results on our platform.
10. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under:
16 in the US (we delete such data if discovered), or18 in the EU/UK.

EU/UK: Automated processing may be used based on cookie consent.
US/Global: We do not currently engage in automated decision-making that has legal or significant effects; any future use will be disclosed with explanations.
13. Transparency Metrics (US/CCPA)
For the early operational period (2024), metrics regarding privacy requests (e.g., Know, Delete, Correct) were zero in number. These will be reported annually going forward.
